Join our vibrant ATLANTAFUTURISM community meetup on Tuesday, December 2nd from Auburn Avenue Research Libary to close our year of Black Speculative Fiction excellence with an intimate reading from the TERMINUS 3 Anthology from Atlanta Authors and editor Milton Davis of MVMedia.
Our gathering will feature a dynamic talkback at 7PM following the author reading where attendees will explore and reflect on the growth and future of Black speculative creativity in Atlanta and beyond, connecting the local scene to a larger movement of innovation and imagination.
A highlight of the evening will be the next updates of the “Constellation of Change” from SUBSUME, an interactive mapping and celebration of 100 Black creators whose interconnected work shapes the galaxy of Speculative Fiction as we know it. This living constellation application will provide new ways to navigate genres, cultures, and collaborative relationships—offering a universe of discovery and inspiration for the next generation of futurists and artists to build and impact our world.
An eclectic selection of books and art from SUBSUME will be available for purchase and pre-order from our Fall 2026 capsule.
